2. You’ve taken on several work at home opportunities in order to make a full time income. Since none of your jobs pay what you’d like, you’ve become a chronic work at home opportunity seeker.
You’re not entirely focused and this is affecting your success rate. If you’ve chosen the internet to establish a full time job consider setting up a web business based on a particular niche. You can sell your own product or sign up with affiliate programs. You may also want to consider creating a business based on a degree or diploma you hold. Example, if you have a teaching degree you can work as an online tutor.
3. You may have chosen an opportunity that doesn’t give you enough to do, you don’t feel mentally stimulated and thus are too bored to be bothered with your work at home opportunity. Example: doing surveys for four hours when you’re mind longs for greater challenges. You should consider internet marketing as work at home opportunity where you can use more of your grey matter.
4. You’ve chosen a work at home opportunity that keeps you at home. Rather than devoting your time to your job, you’re distracted and may feel left out of the outside world. You may be too social and extroverted for your job.
You need to choose a job that lets you get out there and work one on one with people from time to time, or lets you attend public meetings in order to network. If you’re job keeps you at home, devote at least 2 days out of the week where you can go and network for a couple hours, or where you can work in a different location. This is especially helpful for content providers. Instead of working at home, take your laptop to your favorite coffee shop.

The cheapest and easiest way to promote your product is through joint ventures. Make use of other people’s lists, other people’s relationship with their customers, and other people’s traffic. When you want to promote your product, the easiest way to get out there is to set up 50/50 deals with list owners that sell to your target market. This method is so powerful it’s often in your benefit to even do the deal even if you have to give up 70% or 80% of the money to the list owner.
That’s a basic joint venture. Today I want to share you a few other ways you can profit from other people’s traffic and lists without using the normal joint venture.
1. Sell Reprint Rights to a product of yours.
What’s my motivation? Of course I use this low cost license as an incentive to buy the product. I also want to share this information with as many people as possible.
What’s my other motivation? I want to get my materials in the hands of potential customers. There are links to my other products inside the package so I get additional backend sales when other people sell the product. By licensing off this product, I may lose out on a little income from it, but I gain all that income on the backend with no advertising expense or risk.
2. Have 3+ Experts Hold a Teleconference Together.
Team up with other experts and hold a free teleconference where each of you shares several of your best tips on the subject. After you share your tips, make a free or low cost offer to get people to respond at your site.
All the experts on the teleconference let their subscribers know about the event. I recently added 300+ free subscribers to my list through a teleconference like this. How could you hold a win-win-win teleconference in your niche?
3. Create an autoresponder message to add to their series.
Many business owners are using some type of email follow-up now. If your potential JV partners aren’t willing to do a full mailing for you, you could suggest they simply add you’re already written email simply be added at the end of their current follow-up series. No cost for them only a minute of work to add it in and you send them their share of the money from now on.
I love long-term consistent money, so I especially like this method even when someone does a mailing for you. Most people concentrate on the one-shot promotions and income. If you get your email added into a high traffic email series, you can create sales every day not just one time.
If you come accross a business person who doesn’t have an email series, you could offer to give them a basic one that thanks their customers and then makes your backend offers.
4. Write a product review about their product that their affiliates can use.
A key to getting joint ventures is to fill in the gaps and offer value to the people you want to joint venture with. You want a relationship with that well known expert in your field. Offer to do something for them such as writing an exclusive article just for them or writing a product review about their product. They get valuable content that increases their sales.
What do you get? You get exposure in front of their whole audience. You get the byline and resource box as the writer. In the resource box you offer something from your site (a freebie to get them on your list). You also now have an established relationship with them for your future joint ventures offers.
5. Do direct mail to their customers for your product.
It’s sad. Sending out a snail mail piece to your Internet customers can create dramatic profits, but many people simply don’t do it. They refer to themselves as Internet businesses me thinking that their whole business is online. That’s why I always use the term Internet based business as no business should ONLY promote online. The Internet is a marketing tool, not your entire business.

Identify Your Market With The Some Questions

One of the key elements to Internet and Online marketing is identifying your target market. Who are they, how old are they and most importantly where are they located? With the advent of more advanced geo-location software systems being used by Google we are now able to target very specific markets with our online marketing campaigns. The first step in this process is to write down and identify your market with the 3 questions I have listed above. Once you have done that then you should consider the following and address them in order to hone in on your target search engines and then consequently your target market.
I will use the example of a Web Designer and Developer in Melbourne, Australia.
1. The website should be hosted in the country and if possible the city in which you plan on targeting with your online marketing strategy.
2. The website should have on page search engine optimisation which is tailored towards the region - country - city. So, in other words these three elements, if they are identified as the target market, should be mentioned in titles, keywords, meta tags, content, on page titles, links etc within the website.
3. Any controllable external links to the website should have a sprinkling of the region - country - city within them, without over doing it.
4. The website should have a fully qualified domain name.
5. The website should be listed in the regional Google search index. You can go to your local search engine and simply register and request for the googlebot to scan your website. If you host within the region and/or you have a fully qualified domain name then you should get listed within the regional index anyway but registering will triply ensure.
6. Sign up for Google Webmaster Tools and then go to Tools->Set Geographic Location. Some sites target users for a particular geographic location. For example, a site may target all users within a specific country, or it may target only those users who reside within a very small geographic area within that country. Using this feature allows you to further refine your target your market.
7. Have a regional specific phone number. For example, for website design in Australia it would be 1300 880 841.
8. Get listed in local online directories.
9. Use a Google map that shows your business location. This will ensure that your regional association is further enhanced within the search engines.
Once you have done all of these things then your website should be fully targeted towards your identified target market. Now you just need to make your site interesting, make it sell and get it developed properly in order to do this.

Only after you’ve answered all the questions on product, package and price are you ready to consider what many small business owners consider “marketing.”
Four Ps Of Marketing: 4. Promotion Decisions Base on All Your Prior Decisions
Promoting a product is how you sell it, so it has to be done right or you won’t sell one product and your business will go under.
The remaining four questions will then leverage your marketing strategy and tactics.

What Is a Target Market?
Here are several definitions of a target market:
• People or companies which a business targets with their promotion.

• A specific audience or demographic group that a targeted promotional message is designed to attract.

Your best “target market” candidates answer “yes” to all these questions. Why would you convince someone to buy your service if they don’t have the authority or the money to make a the final decision? This is a good reason to qualify potential clients.
Another thing to consider – are you set up to serve the people you are targeting? For example - do you want to attract part of the growing Latino population (if in the US) or Polish population (if in the UK)? Do you or staff members speak Spanish or Polish? Can you build an effective marketing campaign which will attract these consumers by identifying their needs and concerns? Are you willing to bring additional people on board to offer sufficient knowledge and support to handle the needs of these individuals?
Think about the barriers
Many therapists target people with joint pain, arthritis and other problems getting around. Before you promote to these people consider your office. Is it easy for people to reach your office if they have difficulties walking, or if they use a cane or a walker? What would potential clients think about you if they need to climb two flights of stairs to reach your office?
This could be an extreme example, but there are many things within your office that can undo promotional benefits if you don’t think through your plan completely. What obstacles are in your way when you promote to your target market? What can you do to resolve these problems? Are you willing and able to make the necessary changes? You cannot please everyone, but make sure you are prepared for the people you target in your promotional efforts.
If you answered ‘no’ to the questions about making the necessary adjustments, then you may need to re-evaluate your target market. Are you willing to target the “right” customer in the “right” way? If not, you might need to identify another target market.
